BREAKING BOUNDARIES:

Founded in 2014 by a group of artists and engineers who thought the nascent world of Augmented Reality was in need of some creative solutions. We saw AR's potential, but we also saw lots of low-poly models, non-contextual experiences and technical walled gardens.

There were (and still are) thousands of brilliant ideas for AR, held back by technology.

We started with a core group based out of Bent Image Lab in Portland, Oregon.

Today, we are proud to develop and showcase our AR Cloud SDK, which gives developers the essentials they need to make persistent AR experiences. From point cloud generation to ARCore-ARKit interoperability, we want to make persistent AR authoring easier and joyful for anyone. 

Bent is an award-winning Animation and VFX production house with decades of history using technical innovations to bring ideas to life. From that rich vein of experience, many hands have helped contribute to the AR efforts, now grown into its own independent operation.
